Engineer - Onsite

Pay Rate Range: $53.33/hr. - $62.66/hr.

Description/Comment:

Designs and validates manufacturing processes being transferred to a new location. Specifies precise product functional requirements; designs, tests and integrates manufacturing processes and fixtures; and evaluates the processes' overall effectiveness, cost, reliability and safety. Designs, develops, and executes process validation plans; creates and reviews material part specifications and bills of materials. Collaborates with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, and designers to optimize designs for manufacturability. Utilizes CAD (Computer Aided Design) or CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) systems to review and modify existing designs of engineering drawings.

This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline. The job requires the ability to make judgements based on practice and previous experience. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and no experience.

Additional Job Details:

Contract: 9-month (potential for extension)

Transfer: From Lakeland, FL to Chandler, AZ

Responsibilities: Own a product line end-to-end; validation experience; equipment manufacturing background

Travel: ~25% to Florida (must be flexible)

Location: Onsite

Education: Engineering degree required

Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM M-F
